Crafted by Time, Rooted in Craft
A personal journey shaped by wood and patience.

My Woodworking Journey
My journey into woodworking began almost by accident, but my connection to it has been anything but. Over two decades ago I found myself in a small workshop helping an older craftsman with simple tasks. That first experience - shaping raw wood by hand, learning the patience and precision it demands - left a lasting imprint. Although life took me into the world of large-scale building projects, where I gained deep knowledge of construction, structure, and problem-solving, the pull toward wood never left me.
After years of working on everything from small heritage homes to towering buildings in the City of London, I returned to the craft that always felt like home. In our little workshop behind the house, surrounded by fruit trees I have lovingly trained by hand, I now design and build furniture with the same quiet focus and care that first drew me in all those years ago. Every piece I make is shaped by my hands, my eye for detail, and my deep respect for natural materials. For me, working with wood is not just a skill - it’s a way of living in harmony with nature, of slowing down, noticing the grain, and creating something lasting.

Inviting Nature’s Stillness Home
In a world of constant noise and movement, we believe it’s vital to bring the stillness of the natural world into our everyday spaces. Not through grand gestures, but through simple, tactile objects made with care and honesty. Wood carries a quiet wisdom – shaped by seasons, softened by time – and what when we live with it, we feel a little more grounded. Every piece I make invites that connection. It’s not about perfection, trends or status. It’s about creating an atmosphere that breathes with you – slow, real, and deeply human.
Wood reveals its story.
Each piece is shaped by my hands, guided by the grain, and crafted with respect for natural materials.
For me, this is a way of living - slowing down, noticing details, and creating something lasting.

The Maker’s Hands
I’m someone who values process over presentation. After a career in construction, I now work daily in my workshop behind the house, listening to oak shift under the plane, shaping each piece with care.

Where Craft Takes Root
My workshop near Hexton Hill, nestled off the chalk ridge inspires a quiet, focused craft. This place, with its long mornings and wide skies, shapes every table I build.
